The Origin of the Initiative

Inspired by the model of the ‘Fresque du Climat’ and the ability to mobilise collective intelligence to address complex topics, in 2024 Nightline created the Fresque de la Santé Mentale® in French, a workshop which explores the essentials on adopting a general and universal approach to mental health for all ages. Nightline will soon be offering the workshop in English, as the Mental Health Mural®, More information on the Mental Health Mural® workshop is provided below. Information about the French version of the workshop is available here [https://www.nightline.fr/la-fresque-de-la-sante-mentale].

The Mental Health Mural® aims to equip everyone, particularly young people, with the tools they need to take care of their own and others’ mental health by:
👉 Raising awareness about mental health in a safe discussion space
👉 Providing information about the resources available to individuals, for themselves and for others.
👉 Proposing ways to get involved in mental health advocacy on a collective scale

The Mental Health Mural® therefore contributes to empowering individuals to take action regarding their mental health.

With the support of the Fondation Sisley d’Ornano and in partnership with French mental health organisation Psycom, the Mental Health Mural® workshops are focused in particular on Nightline’s key audience: young people, especially students.

Would you like to become a facilitator?

Also from 2025, Nightline will be running training sessions for English-speaking Mental Health Mural® facilitators.

Training consists of two steps: 2 hours online, and one day in person. You will learn how to use the Mental Health Mural® and the role of a facilitator. You will also learn how to work in pairs with another trained facilitator. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people while feeling useful!💙 A facilitator’s notebook and a toolkit will be provided to you at the end of the training to ensure you have all the resources you need.

Are you aged between 18 and 30?

You can become a volunteer with Nightline as a Mental Health Mural® facilitator. This way, you will be able to lead workshops for young people your age in a peer-to-peer approach.

We will be updating this website shortly with details on how to apply.

Are you over 30?

You will be able to be trained to independently facilitate Mental Health Mural® workshops for individuals over 30 later in 2025.

We will be updating this website with details on how to apply.
