Back to school: Nightline is here for you!

You're a student and you’re embarking on this new term with enthusiasm, maybe a little stress, lots of ideas, and challenges to face. Whether you're already a college regular or new to campus, we know how intense student life can be, sometimes even a bit (or a lot) overwhelming.
Good news: Nightline is back to support you throughout this academic year!

What is Nightline?

Nightline is an association created to improve the mental health of young people and students. Our mission? To listen to you when you need it, without judgment, with kindness and confidentiality. Whether you're going through a tough time, feeling lonely, or just want to talk about what's on your mind, our team of student volunteers is here to listen.

Our listening service is open again!

Starting September 2, 2024, our listening service will be operational again for the entire academic year. Our volunteers, who are also students, are trained to provide compassionate and confidential listening. Whether you prefer to talk to us over the phone or through chat, you can reach out to us in the way that makes you feel most comfortable, free of charge, from Thursday to Monday.

The opening hours are designed to fit your schedule: we're here, even in the middle of the night (9 PM - 2:30 AM) when thoughts start racing, and sleep is hard to find.

Why contact us?

The start of the academic year is exciting, but it can also be a source of stress and anxiety. Pressure from classes, adapting to a new environment, loneliness, personal problems… We know that student life isn’t always easy. At Nightline, we offer you a space to talk, without fear of being judged.

You don’t have to wait until you're overwhelmed to reach out. If you feel the need to talk, whether it’s just for a brief moment of sadness or you simply want to chat about the latest movie you watched, don’t hesitate. Sometimes, talking to someone who understands what you’re going through can make all the difference.

In addition to the listening service, we also offer practical resources to help you navigate student life. Our directory Student Support lists services and organizations that can provide concrete and professional help near where you live or study. And to support you in your daily life, we’ve created the First Aid Kit, packed with tips and exercises to manage stress, take care of yourself, and support those around you.
